Meet Dr. Stephen Haake

Dr. Stephen Haake was born and raised in the Overland Park area. After graduating from Rockhurst High School in 1993, he went on to receive his B.S. degree in Biology in May, 1997, from Creighton University in Omaha, NE. In 2001 he graduated from the Creighton University Boyne School of Dental Science, where he received the 2001 American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry Award for Excellence.

Dr. Haake enthusiastically attends continuing education courses to provide the most up-to-date, health-based dentistry available.

In January 2009, Dr. Haake graduated from the OBI Foundation for Bioesthetic Dentistry. This is an intense three-year course educating dentists to successfully treat patients exhibiting signs and symptoms of TMJ disorder. Dr. Haake has also been active with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry since 2009.

When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Haake spends his time with his wife, Jeni, and their three children: Charlie, Jack, and Alaina.

Meet Dr. Harry Boydston

Dr. Boydston was raised on a farm in northeastern Kansas near Valley Falls. One of 29 in his graduating class, he was the first member of his family to attend college. He attended Ottawa University on athletic and academic scholarships and graduated in 1967 with a B.A. in Biology. After attending graduate school at Emporia State University, he entered Dental School at UMKC and graduated in 1973. He started his private practice right here the year he graduated and has been serving Overland Park patients ever since.

His mission is to develop mutual, trusting relationships with each one of his patients while helping them achieve great dental health. He loves getting to know his patients and some of them are the third generation of their family to come to him for dental care. Even after nearly 40 years, Dr. Boydston still has a passion for dentistry. He cherishes the relationships he has with his patients. The practice embraces technology and understands the importance of communicating information to their patient both visually as well as verbally.

He has numerous hours of training in Endodontics, Periodontics, Prosthetics and oral surgery and is certified in oral sedation.

Dr. Boydston is a member of the American Dental Association, the Kansas Dental Association, and has served as president of the 5th District Dental Society. He is an active participant in the Kansas KMOM project and the local Donated Dental organization, as well as the local Optimist Club.

Dr. Boydston and his wife, Karen, have four children and eight grandchildren. In his free time, Dr. Boydston enjoys hunting, fishing, gardening, traveling and spending time with his family.

Meet Dr. Ryan Dahlquist

Dr. Ryan Dahlquist has practiced dentistry for several years. He received his DDS from UMKC School of Dentistry. He completed a residency in general practice dentistry at Truman Medical Hospital. During this time he advanced his skills in implants, sedation, oral surgery, cosmetics, and pediatrics. He is a member of the American Prosthodontic Association, Chicago Dental Society, Missouri Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.

Dr. Dahlquist loves spending time with his wife, Ashley and their daughters Jozlynn and Emery. He is an avid sports fan who loves to support the Chiefs and Royals.
